PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA — The Florida Panhandle could be in for a dangerous deluge this weekend. Pensacola Area Near 9 Inches
To the west, East Pensacola Heights is forecast for about 8.8 inches, putting the Pensacola metro in serious danger of flooding. Communities like Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Milton and Pace could also see several inches.
Pensacola has a history of severe flash flooding when tropical downpours stall over the area, and forecasters are watching this setup closely.
