The call to service at Bethel AME Church in Lancaster took on a different meaning Sunday, as parishioners were reminded of another important civic service: voting.
The church, which has served the Lancaster community for more than 200 years, is one of several traditional African American churches in Lancaster County taking part in the launch of the “Souls to the Polls” initiative.
