Nonprofit fights to save North Las Vegas’ Ty’s Place as it faces closure

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — For nearly seven years, Ty’s Place has been a sanctuary for Las Vegas youth. It offers a secure after-school environment, homework help, mental health support, and mentorship.

Now, the community hub is closing, but not with a last-ditch effort to keep it open.
