Mecklenburg County’s manager says he’s considering options if Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is found to have misused county money.
His statement comes as the State Bureau of Investigation, State Auditor’s Office and State Department of Public Instruction all probe the district’s finances. And on Monday, the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office confirmed they’re also investigating CMS.
