Updated aerial maps capture two years of development across Marion County

Marion County residents can now explore updated high-resolution overhead imagery across the entire region following the release of brand-new 2026 aerial photos by the Marion County Property Appraiser’s Office.

The new imagery marks the first update to the county’s public mapping database since 2024.

Over the past two years, Marion County has experienced continuous commercial and residential expansion, and the refreshed overhead layers offer a clear look at structural additions, roadway adjustments, and land clearing that have taken place across local communities.

The updated aerial photos are fully integrated into the property appraiser’s official “Map It+ Online Mapping System,” allowing users to search individual parcels, view updated boundary lines, and examine property footprints relative to neighboring parcels…
