Animal Advocate: Local 10’s parking lot bunny rescued, renamed Duke, and ready for adoption

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — A bunny who unexpectedly made Local 10’s property his home over the summer has traded the parking lot for a safe place to stay — and is now looking for a permanent family.

The blue-eyed rabbit became something of a Local 10 mascot after employees spotted him hopping around the property, often alongside a flock of chickens. Staff members began feeding and looking out for him, but eventually realized the domestic rabbit needed more help than they could provide.
