Second man sentenced for Centennial pet store puppy theft

Timothy Davis, 39, was sentenced to two years in prison Friday for his role in the 2025 theft of two English Bulldog puppies at a Centennial pet store.

Davis, who distracted pet store employees by faking a seizure while his accomplice stole the two dogs, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit theft for his role in the scheme, according to a news release by the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

His accomplice, Jonathan Muniz, 33, was convicted in September of robbery, theft, conspiracy to commit theft and third-degree assault and sentenced to eight years in the Department of Corrections…
