LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Miami-based real estate firm Fortec has led the acquisition of three Louisville preschool properties with a combined licensed capacity of 521 children, while KinderCare Learning Companies acquired the centers’ operations from their previous operator.
Announced Oct. 5, the transaction involves 31,326 square feet of purpose-built early education space on approximately 4.5 acres. Fortec acquired and owns two of the properties, while a Fortec investment partner owns the third.
The deal separates ownership of the facilities from operation of the schools, with KinderCare taking responsibility for all three centers. Financial terms were not disclosed in the announcement.
