A Kansas dog helped a patrolling police officer find its owner after the man fell at home and remained on the gargae floor for more than three hours.
The incident took place in Leawood, where an officer was patrolling a residential neighborhood on Sept. 17. Bodycam footage from the encounter was later shared by the Leawood Police Department on Facebook.
The officer encountered the dog while on patrol. It was wearing a leash, but its owner was nowhere in sight. The dog barked at the officer, who greeted it and told it to go back home before returning to his vehicle…
