City leaders cut ribbon on affordable housing complex in Beacon Hill

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – City leaders and community members cut the ribbon Wednesday on the Mabion, a new affordable housing complex in Beacon Hill.

The four-story building at 2732 Forest Avenue includes 57 affordable apartments: 11 one-bedroom, 32 two-bedroom and 14 three-bedroom units. Eleven units are set aside for supportive housing for families exiting homelessness. The ground level includes community rooms, on-site services and management offices.
