Las Vegas Nurse Honored for Lifesaving CPR at Golden Knights Game

When Jeannie Cunningham collapsed on the arena stairs during a December Vegas Golden Knights game against Chicago, off-duty nurse Suzie Macis didn’t hesitate. Macis started CPR right away and continued until an automated external defibrillator arrived. Two shocks from the AED helped bring Cunningham back.

Macis, who also goes by Zuzana, learned about the emergency from her husband. She kept up chest compressions for roughly 10 minutes until paramedics reached the scene, and those involved credit CPR and the AED with reviving Cunningham…
