TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama’s game against Georgia remains scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, but Hurricane Isaias has forced a major overhaul of one of Tuscaloosa’s biggest football weekends of the year.
President Donald Trump will no longer attend the game. Trump said Friday he was canceling his trip so first responders, law enforcement and other officials could focus on Hurricane Isaias rather than presidential security. He said he hopes to visit both teams later this season.
ESPN’s College GameDay will move from the Quad to Coleman Coliseum. Tailgating, parking and campus shuttles will not begin before noon, weather permitting, while several signature pregame events have been canceled…
