Judge suppresses evidence, delays quadruple murder trial

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A judge has suppressed evidence in the murder case against Ross Vilardi, delaying a trial that was set to begin Monday.

Robert Kittle with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office confirmed the ruling, saying the judge suppressed evidence obtained through a search warrant for Vilardi’s single-wide trailer connected to the case.

Prosecutors filed an appeal immediately after the ruling, meaning the trial will not begin Monday as planned.
