JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson State quarterback Jared Lockhart is day-to-day with a back injury, head coach T.C. Taylor said Monday.
Lockhart exited Saturday’s game against Grambling before halftime with an apparent back injury and did not return.
Lockhart saw doctor Monday
Taylor said Lockhart was scheduled to see a doctor Tuesday to be evaluated.
“Definitely day to day. He’s going to the doctor today to get it looked at. It is the back… a back issue. But he will get it looked at today. I did speak with him briefly before he went in, and we’re waiting on the results of what’s going on and his status. We’ll take our time with him. That’s the main thing. I don’t want to put him in any situation where it can do further damage,” Taylor said on Monday…
