A distracted driver lost control while traveling southbound on Interstate 5 in Santa Ana and rolled into the northbound lanes, according to a social media post released today by the California Highway Patrol’s Santa Ana Area office.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported despite the dramatic crash scene, which left the vehicle overturned on the freeway.
Photos released by the CHP show the vehicle resting on its side across a traffic lane after crossing the center divider area.
