1 hospitalized after mobile home fire in west Phoenix

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – One person is in the hospital after firefighters say they suffered burns from a fast-moving mobile home fire in west Phoenix early Wednesday. The fire broke out around 4 a.m. near 65th Avenue and Van Buren Street. When fire crews arrived, they found large flames and heavy smoke coming from a home. Video from the scene showed the fire extended onto a nearby car and was dangerously close to other homes. Firefighters were ultimately available to get the fire under control and put out, but one person was found with minor burns. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
