Mario Antwoin Teasley, 33, of Forest Park, wanted by Atlanta Police for an armed robbery, is accused of fleeing from police in a Nissan with Florida plates at speeds over 100 mph on Oct. 3 at 2 a.m. at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Highway and River View Road in Mableton, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Teasley drove on the wrong side of the road at speeds over 100 mph for approximately three miles before the vehicle was stopped by police using a PIT maneuver. Teasley is seen on the police car camera in the driver’s seat, jumping into the passenger seat and attempting to flee through the front passenger window, according to the warrant.
Teasley is charged with driving – fleeing/attempting to elude; and reckless driving. He was arrested on Oct. 3 at 2 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.
Teasley remains in custody without bond and on a hold from the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office.
