BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Police are searching for two people wanted on multiple charges after a shooting inside a Baton Rouge restaurant stemmed from a complaint over a food order, according to investigators.
Daylin Woods, 18, and Savannah Spears, 21, are wanted for attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, and criminal damage to property in connection with the Feb. 2 incident at LJK Round 2 Café.
What investigators say happened
According to Cpl. Saundra Watts with the Baton Rouge Police Department, Woods and Spears ordered food at the restaurant, then called back after paying and leaving.
“They called back to the restaurant expressing their dismay with their order. They were very irate over the phone. They were using derogatory language, cursing out the employee on the phone,” Watts said. “Then they show up back at the restaurant. They continued with the arguing and cursing and using foul language and being very abrasive to the employee at that establishment.”…
