A Norwood, Massachusetts, police officer has been placed on administrative leave following his arrest on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol, the Norwood Police Department announced Sunday.
Norwood police said they arrested Officer Shawn Willman on Thursday an OUI charge. An internal affairs investigation is now being conducted by the department.
“The Norwood Police Department holds its officers to the highest standards of conduct and accountability,” Norwood Police Chief Christopher Padden said. “This matter is being taken seriously, and appropriate administrative action will be determined based on the findings of the investigation.”…
