South Shore real estate broker to plead guilty to $11M embezzlement

A former South Shore real estate broker is expected to plead guilty to fiduciary embezzlement, larceny, misleading police and making false financial statements.

Stephen Webster, 63, diverted more than $11 million from escrow accounts he controlled as principal of Success Real Estate over a period of two years before his business folded abruptly in November 2024, according to the court documents.
