Midtown Mobile residents delight in owl family’s success

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A family of owls in midtown Mobile is now thriving after being relocated, and folks in the area enjoy strolling by to catch a glimpse.

“The mom and dad usually sit in a tree over by our yard, and, in fact, they were sitting the other day just watching them eat,” resident Janet Eggert said. “They had a little picnic and the birds were up there just watching them eat.”

The owlets even already have nicknames.
