DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A staple of the Dayton Punk / Hardcore music scene has officially closed.
The Blind Rage Shop, the store connected to local Blind Rage Records, in the Oregon District, closed. It shared a post on social media.
“The shop has been emptied out and swept clean. I know I’ve said it several times, but thank you to everyone who has ever set foot inside the shop over the past six years and three locations. It has been a pleasure to provide this space, records, events, and sanctuary to the community, especially the lgbTq+,” wrote the store. “Before the shop, it was a label, it still is… There is still plenty of nonsense in the works. But goodbye to the shop.”
