BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — A boil water advisory is now in effect for approximately 4,200 customers in Berkeley County after a water line break beneath the Tail Race Canal disrupted service to several communities, officials said.
The advisory impacts customers served by Berkeley County Water and Sanitation in areas northeast of the canal, including Bonneau, St. Stephen, Shulerville/Honey Hill, Macedonia, Cainhoy, Huger and parts of the Nucor Steel area.
