The Pennyroyal Arts Council is now accepting applications for the 2026 Barbara Gardner Scholarship, which supports local educators and students working to expand access to the arts.
The annual scholarship honors longtime educator Barbara Gardner and will award $500 each to one Christian County educator and one high school student. Recipients must be actively involved in creative projects that promote inclusion, artistic expression, and community impact.
Eligible educators must work at an accredited institution and live in Christian County, while students must be rising juniors or seniors during the 2026–2027 school year, including those in public, private, or homeschool settings…
