GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On April 18, visitors to City High School and Middle School in Grand Rapids can attend a free Earth Day-themed festival organized by the Creston Neighborhood Association.
“We are thrilled to bring this innovative event to the Creston community,” said Alex Karatkiewicz, executive director of the Creston Neighborhood Association, in a statement.
Mental health advocates to host free meal, movie night
Called the Earth Day Fest & Repair Fair, attendees of the event can enjoy plant giveaways, art activities, a community walk and one-on-one volunteer sessions with individuals offering free repairs to bicycles, household goods, tools and more.
“The Earth Day Fest is about more than just sustainability,” Karatkiewicz said in a statement. “It’s about neighbors helping neighbors, learning new skills and building a stronger and more resilient community.”
