The Erie County Democratic Committee on Sunday named its candidate to replace Assembly Majority Leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes.
The committee named Buffalo Common Council Majority Leader Leah Halton-Pope as the Democratic candidate for the 141st Assembly District, encompassing the city of Buffalo.
