BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Jewish Federation hosted their annual Holocaust Remembrance Day commemoration on Sunday. This year’s theme followed the 80th anniversary of the Nuremberg trials.
The event recognized the impact that the trials had on shaping criminal accountability and criminal justice law. International law’s establishment marked the first time individuals and heads of state faced trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
