HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)– The Honor Flight of Southern Indiana will soon take off for the 20th time. There is still time to honor veterans for their service and wish them luck as they make the journey to Washington, D.C. on May 2.
There is also still time to participate in Operation Mail Call to provide veterans with personalized thank you letters as they make their journey back from the Capitol. The deadline for mail is April 22, and there are several drop-off locations around the Tri-State, including the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library, Golden Corral, Red Cross, Evansville VA Clinic, and Old National Bank Branches…
