100 days in office, Mayor Applyrs shares results of Activate Albany community survey

ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — Mayor Dorcey Applyrs announced the results of the Activate Albany community survey, which she first introduced on her first day in office. More than 5,000 residents completed the survey, answering questions ranging from affordability and safety to the city’s nightlife and entertainment.

“This is a historic level of information on what Albany residents need, and it can be used for years to come,” Applyrs said.

Across ZIP codes and demographics, residents were “almost completely unanimous” about the changes they want, with potholes and street conditions among the top concerns, along with lowering energy costs…
