Annapolis police responded to a shooting, an armed juvenile incident, and an assault over the weekend in three separate cases across the city, according to the department.
The most serious incident happened Friday in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive, where officers were called at about 5:30 p.m. for a shooting. According to police, officers were approached by the victim at a red light and told the person had been shot. Annapolis police communications also received multiple calls reporting shots fired in the area.
