KENT COUNTY, Michigan — Kent County is hoping to make courthouse marriages easier with a brand new scheduling tool.
This month, the 63rd District Court launched a new online marriage ceremony booking tool that will help streamline the booking process for couples looking to elope. The booking website gives couples the opportunity to reserve a time without having to call ahead or show up in person.
Ceremonies are held on Mondays and Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. at the courthouse, located at 1950 East Beltline Avenue. The county says that spots fill up quickly — often booked out two months in advance — so be sure to plan ahead…
