Scene clear after bomb threat at Huntsville High School; investigation ongoing

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The scene has been cleared at Huntsville High School and people are being allowed back in the building after a possible bomb threat at Huntsville High School came in about 1:30 p.m., according to Huntsville police.

Out of an abundance of caution, the school was evacuated while officers conducted a thorough sweep of the campus.

The sweep found no suspicious items were located. Students and staff were safely allowed to return inside, and school was dismissed early. Police say they have reason to believe there is an ongoing threat to the school…
