PAW PAW, Mich. — A West Michigan man was charged with six felonies on Monday after Van Buren County sheriff’s deputies said he attacked a man with bear mace, kidnapped a woman he had a relationship with and shot her vehicle with a paintball gun.
Shane Williams, 30, of Van Buren County, was charged with felonious assault, unlawful imprisonment, possession of a pneumatic gun during the commission of a felony, resisting and obstructing police, arson of personal property, and interfering with electronic communications.
According to a report from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Williams’ ex-girlfriend’s home on April 9, asking an acquaintance to remove his belongings from her home.
