South Michigan Food Bank’s Mobile Market helping eight counties

ADRIAN, Mich. — The South Michigan Food Bank is bringing back its Mobile Market program for a second year.

The nonprofit’s goal is to expand access to free groceries for families facing food insecurity across eight counties in southern Michigan.

The traveling food distribution runs from April through October, delivering groceries directly to communities twice a month, targeting rural areas, senior housing sites, and neighborhoods where access to full-service grocery stores can be limited.
