KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Tennessee’s Cam Appenzeller has been named SEC Freshman of the Week after another stellar outing over the weekend to help the Volunteers sweep No. 9 Mississippi State.
Appenzeller struck out a career-best eight batters through five innings of relief in the game one win against Mississippi State 6-5 on Friday night.
