At long last it’s here! Summer-like warmth takes over this week. It’s so warm, it’s going to feel like the middle of June.
Winds are driving in warmer air from the southwest today. Those brisk winds will be enough to pop our temperature up to about 70 degrees. But this is the type of wind that’ll shake you around side-to-side in your car.
This week’s forecast for the coast is a tricky one. Timing is everything. And it all hinges on the sea breeze.

By Tuesday afternoon, radar will be lit up with showers and storms punching into western New England. Daytime heating will give extra energy to these storms. We think that action arrives in Boston later in the evening.
Wednesday features more sea breezes for Boston Logan International Airport. Bottom line: Drive just a little bit away from the coast and you’ll hit that summer heat…
