CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Two people were critically injured after a small general aviation aircraft crashed Monday near Corpus Christi International Airport, according to Corpus Christi Fire Department Assistant Chief Tony Perez.
The crash happened along the Highway 44 access road adjacent to the airport as the plane was approaching the runway, Perez said.
