TOWN OF CALEDONIA, Wis. — A man suspected in a kidnapping died by suicide after leading law enforcement on a chase Sunday afternoon, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said.
Law enforcement from Dane County were chasing a truck that was reportedly involved in a kidnapping incident. According to Waunakee police, a man had broken into an ex-partner’s home on Friday and held her against her will. She was able to get away and contact police at around 3 p.m. Sunday.
