Sheriff’s Office seeks information after arrest of former charter school substitute teacher

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – On Monday, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced it was seeking additional information after the arrest of William Boden, a 33-year-old former substitute teacher at James Madison Charter Academy.

The investigation, which began on January 5, 2026, follows the report of an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student at the school. Investigators found evidence of an unlawful relationship between Boden and the underage victim.
