Former Jefferson County Deputy Charged with Harassing Communications

A former deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has been charged with third-degree harassing communications, a misdemeanor, according to court records.

The defendant, Cerell Deon Cole Jr., is accused of making repeated phone calls from multiple numbers to the mother of his child. Court documents state that the contact continued even after he was told to stop. He is also accused of going to the complainant’s home without permission.
