‘Everyone else is playing detective’: Families of homicide victims come together to push for change

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Several Louisville families grieving loved ones who’ve died met downtown Monday night, hoping that detectives get closer to finding tangible justice in all of their different cases.

Some of the families represented tonight were those of Tiara Manica, Carlos Wilson and Aumani Martin, all of them saying they still have a lot of unanswered questions in their loved ones’ deaths, and claiming they’ve had to put the pieces together themselves.

One of the victims: Carlos Wilson, Jr., who was found beaten in a backyard in PRP in March, and later died in the hospital…
