BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — An arrest was made in central Bakersfield near California Avenue Tuesday morning, sending a large KCSO presence.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies were in the area of California Avenue and Real Road for a follow-up investigation.
Eyewitness News cameras captured one person being arrested.
Deputies were seen searching a vehicle.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed that CHP was requested for spike strips in a pursuit with a vehicle on the northbound Highway 99. However, the vehicle exited the freeway, ending their involvement.
