GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Five days before a Grand Rapids woman was about to move into her new house, she got a call that turned her plans upside down.
Julianne Chubb, closed on her new home in February and was scheduled to move in March 16. On March 11, she got a call from her real estate agent that there was water in her basement.
“Initially they called me in the morning that water got in the basement, and I just thought, ‘OK , I can get some buckets,’” Chubb said.
