Upcoming rainfall could cause ‘significant’ flooding on Muskegon River | WHAT TO KNOW

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Flooding has caused multiple West Michigan rivers to flood over the past week, and with more rain on the way, the National Weather Service is asking residents to prepare for even higher water levels.

The Grand River recently crested at about 15.5 feet, completely flooding parts of Comstock Park and Lowell. Video captured last week showed parkgoers touring Riverside Park in their kayaks as the river spilled over.
