Man Shot in Apparent Random Attack in West Hollywood; Suspect Sought

Authorities are searching for a suspect after a man was shot in what deputies described as a random, unprovoked attack Tuesday on a residential street in West Hollywood.

The shooting was reported in the 7900 block of Norton Avenue after the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s West Hollywood Station received a call about an assault with a deadly weapon and reports of a gunshot victim.

According to reports, the victim was walking with his wife and infant child when a suspect approached and fired a single shot. No words were exchanged before the gunfire, according to witness reports…
