NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — An inmate died after being found unresponsive at a CoreCivic corrective center Friday night.
Staff found the inmate unresponsive in his housing area at Trousdale Turner Correctional Center around 9:47 p.m. and started lifesaving measures right away. Medical staff called for help and paramedics took him to a nearby hospital.
Hospital staff pronounced him dead and the Tennessee Department of Correction was notified immediately…
