ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — Two Escambia County corrections officers have been arrested after an investigation into the battery of an inmate at the Escambia County Jail that left the man with injuries requiring surgery.
Sharif Dawud Hale, 42, of Cantonment was arrested on charges of felony battery with great bodily harm and tampering with physical evidence. Larry Ken Martin, 32, of Flomaton, was charged with providing false information to law enforcement regarding a felony, according to NorthEscambia.com.
