A Lady Lake man was arrested after allegedly throwing a pregnant woman holding a child across the room.
Officers responded to a possible assault on a pregnant woman at an undisclosed Lady Lake residence around 9:10 p.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. When speaking to her outside, she stated 24-year-old Jacob Andrew Godinez began yelling at her and became extremely angry around 8 p.m.
Godinez threatened her, saying he would put his hands on her. She was holding a child when he put his hands on her buttocks, lifted her and threw her across the room. He continued his irate behavior by throwing a can of baby formula across the room and punching a hole in the bathroom door, the report said.
The woman and her child were later transported to a hospita by Lake County EMS for evaluation, the report said…
