OMAHA, Neb. — Mackenzie Wilson and Kayla Van de Ven tied for fifth place to lead Wichita State to a third-place finish Tuesday at the Stampede at the Creek at Indian Creek Golf Course.
Wichita State recorded rounds of 297, 311 and 303 for a total of 911, finishing 47 strokes over par. The Shockers were five strokes behind Drake, which won the team title with a 906. Omaha’s Katie Ruge claimed medalist honors with a 4-over 220.
