I-64 East in southern Indiana reopens after ‘hazmat’ situation

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ind. — An interstate in southern Indiana will be shut down for “several hours” Friday morning due to a hazmat situation.

All lanes of I-64 eastbound at mile marker 92, five miles east of the Corydon area, are blocked, as of 6:30 a.m. due to an incident that happened at around 4 a.m., according to Crawford County Dispatch.

The interstate will remain closed for “several hours” during “hazmat cleanup,” authorities said…
